Homestead wins 11th straight sectional title in boys tennis

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Homestead boys tennis, ranked 12th in the state’s latest poll, topped Bishop Luers 5-0 at the Jimmy Clark Tennis Center on Thursday as the Spartans claimed their 11th consecutive sectional title and the 43rd in program history.

That 43rd sectional title ties them with Jasper for fourth-most in IHSAA history.

The Spartans advance to regionals next week at Bluffton High School.
