UPLAND, Ind. (WANE) – Kevin Donley and the Cougars are heading back to the drawing board after a 58-36 loss at Taylor on Saturday. The loss snaps a 3-game winning streak.

After allowing an opening touchdown to Taylor, Saint Francis responded with a Josh Kulka pass to McCall Ray. However, Taylor raced ahead by scoring 16 unanswered points on two touchdowns and a safety.

Saint Francis trailed by two at halftime, but the Cougars were outscored, 35-15 over the final two quarters of the game. The Cougars’ defense allowed 585 yards of total offense to Taylor in Saturday’s loss.

Saint Francis looks to bounce back next Saturday back home against Lawrence Tech. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium.
