Darlington celebrates 20 years of holiday shopping

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Festive toys and candy are stocked on the Darlington Holiday Warehouse shelves for shoppers to buy as the store opens for it’s 20th season Friday morning.

According to Store Owner Brian Ellis, Darlington Holiday Warehouse Facebook , almost two million items will be on sale for $2.49, as well as several items stocked with familiar name brands.

“We just found out from LEGO® that we are the largest specialty store retailer of Legos in North America,” Ellis said. ” … We have thousands and thousands of Legos here, always on sale, and a great variety.”

Alongside items for purchase, Director of Marketing Shelly Barton said Darlington has “surprises in store” for shoppers to celebrate 20 years of operation. She said there will be item giveaways, as well as a $500 giveaway each day the store is open. Shoppers can sign up in-store.
