Overnight lane closures scheduled for I-69 in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) Starting on or after October 11, motorists can expect delays on I-69 as crews perform bridge maintenance in Grant County.

Work will begin in both directions of the interstate near Gas City between Exit 255 and Exit 259. Work will take place between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily until approximately October 31. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.

During the overnight closures, one lane of I-69 will be open in each direction. All lanes of the interstate will be open during the non-working hours.

INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
