FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Don’t bother bringing cash to buy food and drinks at the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne starting October 25, because it won’t be accepted.

Coliseum management announced Friday the move to go cashless is meant to speed up service and improve convenience at events. Merchandise stands, like those found at concerts, will also be going cashless.

Debit cards, credit cards, and mobile payment options (Apple Pay & Google Pay) will be accepted.

The ticket office and parking booths will continue to accept cash.

Guests will also be able to exchange cash for food and beverage cards at the Information Booth, located in the lower rotunda just inside the Arena & Expo entrance. The food and beverage cards can only be used at Aramark concessions. They cannot be used at the ticket office or parking booths. The cards are not reloadable or refundable.
