Bellmont, South Adams sweep in Thursday’s sectional volleyball

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Purdue recruit MaryKate Scheumann tallied 10 kills to lead Bellmont over Huntington North 3-0 (25-9, 25-9, 25-8) in 4A girls volleyball sectional play Thursday night at South Side’s Don Reichert Gymnasium. Meanwhile at Woodlan, South Adams won its 26th match of the season with a 3-0 sweep of rival Adams Central.
