Fort Wayne man sentenced for 2 separate rape cases

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A 31-year-old man will spend a decade in prison after being sentenced Friday over two separate instances of rape.

A judge in Allen Superior Court handed Marcus Walker 12 years in prison with two of those years suspended. After serving his time, the sentencing calls for him to be on probation for two years.

He’d been arrested for rape in March, and was arrested again in May for a separate investigation stemming from September 2023.

Walker entered a plea deal last month in which the prosecutors would drop two sexual battery charges, leaving him to be sentenced on two counts of rape.
