Spacemen Premier continue hot start with win over Metro Jets

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Kaleigh Schrock and the Fort Wayne Spacemen earned their most convincing win yet, a 13-1 victory over the Metro Jets on Sunday at the Icehouse.

Former Carroll standout Brody Burge led the way with a hat trick and an assist. Alexis Toussaint and Bogdan Vysotsky both finished with four points – two goals and two assists. Meanwhile, six other players – Jackson Cothran, Aiden Byler, Tucker Tone, Thomas Cheeney, Jack Backstrom and Danylo Shpak – lit the lamp in Sunday’s win.

With the win, the Spacemen Premier team improves to 5-1 on the season. Fort Wayne is back home for a 3-game home stand against the Decatur Blaze from Friday through Sunday.
