ELLENSBURG-Two former professors at Central Washington University have been accused of a hate crime towards a black colleague. Prosecutors say that Hal Ott and Brent Hages were distributing papers with explicit pictures of their colleague in order to humiliate him into leaving, according to court documents. A former student of Ott says that the professor expressed animosity toward the black professor. The pictures were distributed in January of 2022.
