Evacuation Orders Issued as Cougar Creek Fire Grows to 520 Acres in Asotin County
ASOTIN COUNTY - A fire burning in southern Asotin County, in the area of Cougar Creek Road, on the north side of the Grande Ronde River, has now reached 520 acres in size. The Cougar Creek Fire, reported around 7:00 p.m. on Monday, was initially attacked by air resources, which operated throughout Monday evening while daylight permitted.
