Two drive-by shootings in Spokane in past week
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) responded to a drive-by shooting early Monday morning after a separate drive-by on Saturday. According to SPD, the first shooting took place at around 6:30 a.m. on North Wall Street and West Francis Avenue. Several shots were fired at a home on North Wall, which SPD believes was a targeted attack. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.

Average gasoline prices in Yakima have risen 0.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.88 per gallon today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 91 stations in Yakima. Prices in Yakima are 9.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 71.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. UNION GAP, Wash. -- The Union Gap Police Department is looking for a stolen decommissioned patrol SUV. According to UGPD, the silver 2017 Ford Explorer was stolen between the night of July 13 and the early hours of July 14 from the 2600 block of Main Street in Union Gap after being bought by a local business at an auction. The SUV is no longer a UGPD patrol car and has no police markings other than fully functioning emergency equipment and push bars.
