State Route 904 in Cheney to close both directions for repaving
CHENEY, Wash. – Both directions of State Route 904 in Cheney will close for repaving starting July 16. The closure is part of the State Route 904 Betz Road Crossing project. During the first phase, from July 16 to July 22, both directions of State Route 904 will be closed at the railroad crossing south of the Betz Road intersection. Phase two, scheduled from July 24 to July 30, will close Betz Road in both directions west of the State Route 904 intersection.

YAKIMA- Chief United States District Judge Stanley A. Bastian sentenced Nicholas Dean Elwell, age 40, of Wapato, Washington, to 46 months in federal prison on one count of Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
