CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Albany County Sheriff’s Office identified the body found at Mirror Lake on July 4 as James Bitner, 56, of Blackhawk, Colorado. Casper council grills airport officials on MRG cancelation; circumstances were complicated
CASPER, Wyo. — They were almost as unpleasant as airplane food and almost as uncomfortable as sitting in an 18-inch seat next to someone with poor hygiene. The unpleasantness and discomfort were questions and comments to Casper-Natrona County International Airport officials by Casper City Council members Tuesday about the sudden — to them at least — cancellation of the minimum revenue guarantee for the lone SkyWest-Delta connection after the council pledged $400,000 to it.
A new face for City Hall unveiled
The Douglas City Hall will soon receive a facelift, and now we have a better idea of what the nondescript building at Fourth and Center streets may look like. The city council voted in July to accept a $389,000 bid from K&R Construction, of Douglas to replace and repair the building’s facade. K&R is partially owned by Douglas City Councilman Ron McNare.
