The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for the 2023-24 season on Thursday and the University of Wyoming men's golf team led the Mountain West and was one of 25 teams in America to have five or more All-America Scholars. Cleanup continues; meteorologists break down ‘perfect storm’
(Missoula Current) Chainsaws continued to roar on Friday and some areas remained without power two days after a powerful storm ripped through the Missoula Valley. Meteorologists on Friday described it as a “once-in-a-decade” event – the last being in 2015. Early estimates place the damage in the tens of millions of dollars with cars crushed, houses and infrastructure damaged, and the steep toll that hurricane-force winds took on the city's prized urban forest.

Thousands of people in Missoula were still without power Friday afternoon after a powerful storm blasted through the area Wednesday night. NorthWestern Energy at noon Friday said they had more than 160 personnel and 34 line crews working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.
