Helena man dies in high-speed crash on Canyon Ferry Road Saturday night
HELENA, Mont. - A man is dead after crashing into a boat trailer on Canyon Ferry Road at 10:46 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. A report from Montana Highway Patrol states a 28-year-old was driving on Canyon Ferry Road headed east at what is estimated to have been over 100 miles per hour. Governor Orders Wyoming Flag be Flown at Half Staff to Honor Russell Zimmer
Cheyenne, WY (RELEASE) July 26th, 2024 — Governor Mark Gordon has ordered the Wyoming State Flag be flown at half staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Goshen, Niobrara and Platte Counties from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, July 27 in honor and memory of Russell Zimmer. Mr. Zimmer served in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1973-1976 and in the Wyoming Senate from 1977-1992, serving as Senate Vice President, Majority Floor Leader, and as Senate President. He passed away July 12, 2024.
