Carnegie Hall ‘Ivy Terrace’ concert series presents Browns Creek Night Crawlers
LEWISBURG, W.Va. – Carnegie Hall’s Ivy Terrace Concert Series picks back up on Thursday, August 8, at 6:30 p.m. with Browns Creek Night Crawlers. Sponsored by City National Bank, the concert takes place outside on Carnegie Hall’s Ivy Terrace as attendees watch from the expansive lawn in front of New River Community and Technical College. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and pack a picnic to enjoy live music. All Ivy Terrace concerts are free, open to the public, and alcohol free.
Brief Dry Break Then Rain Returns
WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Following a 5-minute shower or storm this evening, for many of you Wednesday will be dry. The pattern favors one or two storms between Summersville and Bluefield this evening and then most of Wednesday will be dry. The best threat for a storm (30% risk) will be after 3-4 p.m. Wednesday south of I-64. An approaching trough will then trigger rain for your garden late Thursday and Friday. The same trough will bring a splash or two over the weekend before a dry and hot pattern commences early next week.
