Showers and storms possible this morning.
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A complex of thunderstorms will be moving across southern Ohio and into West Virginia this morning. Thunderstorms will be more likely around Jackson County and towards the south for the morning commute, but rain chances will still be around towards the north. Our potential for showers and storms today will wane through the morning, but a few showers will still be possible around noon. When we enter the afternoon and evening, we will be looking at drier weather with a decrease in cloud cover. Expect the evening commute to be overall quiet across the Mid-Ohio Valley. However, it is still going to be quite humid.

Ridge Runners play final home game of season tonight
BLUEFIELD — The Bluefield Ridge Runners will play their final home game of the Appalachian League regular season at tonight at Bowen Field. The Ridge Runners will host a game with the Kingsport AxMen. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. After tonight's home stand versus the AxMen, the Ridge Runners are slated to travel to Kingsport to wrap up the regular season at Hunter Wright Stadium.
