WARD COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Two people are injured after a DUI crash involving an ATV in Ward County on Sunday night. North Dakota Highway Patrol says on July 21, just after 8:30 p.m., 43 year-old Jeremiah Burner was going southbound 2 miles Southeast of Minot on an ATV.
Woman injured in Ward County crash
MINOT — One woman was injured in a crash at approximately 6:29 p.m. Sunday, July 21, about 11 miles south of Minot. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Tyler Bradshaw, a 22-year-old Parshall resident, was driving a Ford F-150 south on Highway 83 and slowed down as he approached the site of another crash troopers were investigating. Traffic had been redirected to the left southbound lane and Richard Jackson, a 72-year-old New Town man driving a 2017 GMC Sierra, struck the rear of Bradshaw's truck.

Falls prevention workshop being planned
NDSU Extension Ward County will be offering “Stepping On,” a falls prevention workshop this fall. “Stepping On” helps participants build strength and improve balance while also teaching about various home hazards, community safety, bone health and vision. Weekly classes will be held from Sept. 9-Oct. 22 (Tuesdays) from 1-3 p.m. at the Parker Senior Center in Minot. The workshop is free to attend but registration is required as space is limited to 15 participants.
