NWS predicts hazardous heat early next week
The National Weather Service is warning of potentially dangerous heat early next week. The NWS issued a hazardous weather outlook for much of the greater St. Louis region, including Franklin and Warren counties. The agency warns of possible heat index values near 105 degrees Monday and Tuesday. Residents are encouraged to stay inside when possible, drink lots of water and wear loose-fitting clothing.
