Tuck’s Rock Dojo: Applauding 15 Years Of Nurturing A Creative Community
On Saturday, June 29 from 3 to 10 pm, around a hundred of Tuck’s Rock Dojo students,. current and alumni (some flying in from all over the country), will be performing their music to celebrate the Dojo’s 15th anniversary on two stages at the Lake Morey Resort. Admission is free to all, and families are welcome. The lakeside resort will offer concertgoers a large variety of food and beverage options to purchase, similar to their free Summer Concert Series.

River Bend Car Fire
Bradford, VT- On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the River Bend Emergency Services and Fire Management class taught by Thomas Leeman worked with the Bradford, Wells River, and Woodsville fire departments to do a practice car burn. The burn started around 12:40 pm and continued to burn for around an hour. Groups of students in Leeman’s class took turns in the fire suits and used the hose to put out parts of the fire. Hay was used to start the fire and keep it going in between groups. River Bend’s Health Sciences, Cosmetology, Automotive Technology, and Heavy Equipment classes came out to watch the burn.

NH secretary of state signals support for ‘significant’ change to voter registration
New Hampshire’s top elections official is signaling his support for a Republican-backed measure that would alter how first-time voters register. The bill in question would mandate new voters in the state arrive at the polls with proof they are qualified to vote — including documentation that they are U.S. citizens. At a hearing Wednesday where lawmakers were trying to find agreement on the final details of the legislation, Secretary of State David Scanlan said it is not an “unreasonable” change to the current process.
