Trumbull Co. Sheriff’s Office hiring corrections officers

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office is looking to hire corrections officers.

According to TCSO, corrections officers participate in the day-to-day operations of the jail. Their primary purposes are the preservation and protection of life and property; prevention of crime and escape; booking and releasing offenders; maintaining facility security; and escorting offenders within and/or outside the jail.

Hourly pay begins at $22, with step increases. Other benefits include hourly hazardous duty pay, shift differential pay, 13 paid holidays and paid training, as well as medical, dental and vision insurance.

Those wishing to apply must have a valid driver’s license, U.S. citizenship and a high school diploma or equivalent.
