Costumed Great Brant Lake Canoe Race Set for August 10th
An award ceremony will take place at noon at the Horicon Community Center. At 1:30 there will be a kids scavenger hunt, The Gnarly Gerbil; a mountain bike scavenger hunt, and after-event party at The Hub. Five injured after juveniles crash into CDTA bus
Five people had minor injuries after police said juveniles driving a stolen vehicle crashed into a CDTA bus in Albany. The crash happened just after 10 a.m. Monday, July 15 at the intersection of Quail Street and Sherman Street. The occupants of the vehicle left the scene, Albany Police said.

The summer tourism season in Saratoga Springs is in full swing — and so is a novel paid parking program. The new rules are in effect in all city-owned lots. Parking now costs Spa City visitors $2 per hour, while residents and employees of downtown businesses can apply for free parking passes.
