An Indiana School System Asks Parents to Pick Up the Summer Sun Meals They Order
Summer can be a real challenge for parents, right? It feels like kids never stop eating! Just yesterday, we were driving back from Florida and decided to treat ourselves with a stop at McDonald's (a rare indulgence at our house). They had this deal—$5 for a meal with a double-patty burger, fries, four chicken nuggets, and a drink. My 11-year-old finished her entire meal. As for me, I only managed to eat half of my burger and a few fries. But wouldn't you know it, about 30 minutes later, she polished off the rest of my meal. And then, less than two hours after she ate, she was already saying she was hungry again!

Warrick Humane Society’s $5 Donation Drive to Help Fund New Building
When I find myself utterly overwhelmed by a massive project, I have this mantra I say out loud:. HOW DO YOU EAT AN ELEPHANT? ONE BITE AT A TIME. It's not about literally eating elephants (definitely not!), but rather breaking down daunting tasks into manageable pieces. By tackling small tasks one by one, eventually the whole project gets done.
Warrick County Commissioners' legal issues 'orchestrated,' but they won't say by who
BOONVILLE, Ind. — The felony charges all three Warrick County Commissioners face are part of an "orchestrated" effort against them, according to commission attorney Andrew Skinner. "These individuals have used our local media, judicial system, electoral system and even law enforcement to further personal agendas, settle old scores, tarnish...

Here’s How Adults Can Enter Exhibits at the Warrick County 4-H Fair
This will be my daughter's third year competing at the Warrick 4-H Fair and it's one of her favorite weeks of the year. In 4-H, participants choose projects to work on, and these projects are then judged at the fair. It was fun to see the wide range of projects on display, from farm scenes to baked goods. My daughter took part in three projects last year: sewing, horse and pony, and photography. She sewed a skirt that she proudly wore to the 4-H fashion review, and also showcased her horse in various classes.
