    Warrington Police Stop a Man Allegedly Trying to Break into the Front Door of a House

    Warrington police said they found a 33-year-oild Ambler man trying to break into the front door of a house on Tabatha Drive.

    WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—Warrington police intervened when a 33-year-old Ambler man was allegedly trying to break in the front door of a house in broad daylight.

    Police said that on June 27, Steven Joseph Delpopolo was on Tabatha Drive when he tried to break into the front door and front windows of a house. Witnesses said that Delpopolo appeared to give up and walk away, but he immediately went back to the house and tried to enter through the front door.

    When police arrived at about 6:30 p.m., they said they found Delpopolo acting erratically. He also appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

    Delpopolo was picked up by a family member and citation was filed for public drunkenness.
