    Bulldogs close out spring season with 6th-place finish in MSHSL State Championship

    Competing at Becker’s Pebble Creek Golf Club, the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton boys golf team took on the best class A schools in the state Tuesday and Wednesday in the MSHSL State Championship. With a total team score of 658, the Bulldogs finished sixth as a team and were led by senior Logan Thell who finished in a tie for 14th overall with a two-day score of 156.

    Thell recorded a total of five birdies and 19 pars in an impressive showing amongst the 88 player field. Senior Steven Dimmel finished in a tie for 36th overall with a score of 163 that featured 19 pars and a birdie on hole No. 8 on day two.

    Senior Alex James posted a score of 167 to finish in a tie for 47th and senior Ryan Kronbach closed out the team scoring with a total score of 172. Senior Carter Miller closed out his high school career with a total score of 176 while the lone underclassmen for JWP, freshman Jeffrey Simonson, closed out the season with a score of 180.
