Bulldogs drop pair of matches ahead of busy week

The Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton volleyball team competed in a pair of matches last week with a road contest against Medford and a home battle against Bethlehem Academy.

After claiming the first set against Medford, the Bulldogs dropped the next three, losing 3-1. In the matchup with BA, a tight first set that went to the Cardinals 25-23, gave way to a sweep that puts Bulldogs’ record at 1-4 (0-3 GC).

JWP faces a busy week ahead, traveling to Alden-Conger Monday and Blooming Prairie Tuesday before hosting Hayfield Thursday, Sep. 19.
