Waseca man charged with dealing meth

A Waseca man is facing first-degree drug sale charges after a tip from a confidential informant last December led to a drug sale, in which the informant was able to buy 32.2 grams of meth.

Martin David Knoll, 60, was charged in Waseca County District Court on Sept. 17, with the charge relating to a drug sale completed on Dec. 14, 2023. That day, police say their informant was able to buy $450 worth of meth from Knoll at his residence.

According to the charging document, the informant purchased the meth while wearing a covert recording device, then met with agents with the South Central Drug Investigation Unit, confirming Knoll’s identity and that he had purchased the bag from him.
