Forty-two experienced runners completed the 60 mile trek to Peoria Saturday for the annual St. Jude Run. They started at 5am from St. Bede, ran in fine weather and covered the distance in about eleven hours. Every runner – on average – covers about three miles. PEORIA (25News Now)—Hundreds of runners are coming together today to continue St. Jude’s life-saving mission through the St. Jude Runs. The Richwoods to Peoria runners are running around 30 miles today, with a goal of raising $37,000. There are 37 runners this year, and each runner is responsible for $1,000 in fundraising efforts.
