Wrinkle, Stuart charged with felonies
On Monday, July 15th, 2024, at approximately 11:00am, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested James Wrinkle, 39 of Hope, AR. Mr. Wrinkle was arrested in the 200 block of East 3rd Street and charged with Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property. Mr. Wrinkle was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
Fair Hills VFD gets water donation
PRESCOTT – Firefighters battler more than fires during the summer – they also battle the heat, humidity and dehydration. To help with the dehydration part, Anhauser Busch donated 98 cases of canned water to the Fair Hills Volunteer Fire Department Monday. The department applied for the water with a grant through the company in April 2024 and was recently notified it would be receiving the water. Assistant Fire Chief Joey Beavers said the National Volunteer Fire Council paired with Busch on the project and several departments were awarded water. Fair Hills is the only department in the county to get the water.
