Suspect Faces Felonies for Allegedly Striking Officer, Nurses
JONESBORO, Ark. – A suspect faces several felony charges after an involuntary admission became violent Friday in Jonesboro. Around 10 AM on June 28, officers were dispatched to the 1800-block of Highland Drive for a crisis intervention. While much of the report is masked, the decision was made to take the subject into custody to be evaluated by medical personnel.
Fordyce visited by state officials
Sunday afternoon, a three-vehicle motor pool of Arkansas Gov. Sarah Sanders pulled into the gates of the Dallas County Detention Center in Fordyce. The entourage included Sanders and her husband, Bryan Sanders, as well as State Police Director Col. Mike Hagar, House Speaker Matthew Shepherd, State Sen. Matt Stone and State Rep. Sonya Barker.
