A Caryville Man Arrested on Resisting a Officer and Drug Charges in Washington County Fla
WASHINGTON COUNTY, FL:A Caryville man has been arrested on resisting an officer and drug charges. On July 15th, while patrolling the area of State Rd. 90 and Wilcox Rd. in Caryville last night, a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed a pedestrian traveling on a bicycle without proper illumination. Contact was made with the individual identified as 28-year-old, Corey Shae Wilson. During the stop, deputies observed Wilson to be nervous and became confrontational during questioning. Deputies apprehended Wilson for further investigation.

Man arrested for burglary in Washington County
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A man from Orlando was arrested on Tuesday in Washington County after a home break-in. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call reporting that a man had abandoned a vehicle in the victims’ front yard and was found inside the living room of the home. The victim asked the man to leave but was told by the suspect that he was “security” before fleeing the scene.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., WCSO deputies responded to a residence where the caller reported he had returned home from work and discovered an abandoned vehicle in his front yard. When the victim entered his home, a Hispanic male was standing in the living room. He commanded the male subject to get out of his house, at which time the subject stated he was “Security” and exited the residence quickly.

Vernon man arrested on gun and drug charges following traffic stop
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Authorities in Washington County said a Vernon man was arrested on gun and drug charges after a traffic stop. Washington County Sheriff’s Office officials said early Saturday morning, one of their deputies pulled over a vehicle on Spoolmill Road in Vernon. While standing outside of the car, the deputy reportedly smelled narcotics coming from inside it.
