OPINION: It's time to fix up Hall Boulevard
Hall Boulevard is in terrible condition. ODOT has decided to give it to Washington County in this condition, and ODOT claims no funds, which is probably true. Unfortunately, they have been taking care of other roads while ignoring Hall Boulevard, and Hall Boulevard has become a Washington County road or soon will be. It is dangerous to walk Hall with some sidewalks on one side or the other, but some places there are no sidewalks. So, the pedestrian is at greater risk as drivers attempt...

To reduce wildfire risk, a High-Fire-Danger Burn Ban was enacted across Washington County beginning July 1, 2024, and will remain in effect indefinitely. The Washington County Fire Defense Board, in consultation with the Oregon Department of Forestry, maintains the burn ban, which prohibits all outdoor debris burning across Washington County, including the City of Hillsboro and surrounding areas.
