WASHINGTON STATE MAN ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP
A Washington State man was arrested Tuesday after a traffic stop. Brenham Police report that Tuesday night at 9:15, Officer Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Highway 290 West. Investigation led to the arrest of the driver, Timothy Koretz Sutton, 29 of Washington State. He was booked into the Washington County Jail for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Unlicensed Carrying of a Weapon.

Parker indicted on 2 counts capital murder
The alleged assailant from April’s attack on the Brenham DPS office building was indicted on two counts of capital murder, among other charges, by the Washington County Grand Jury on Tuesday. The announcement by the district attorney’s office of the indictments against Clenard Parker, 42, of Chappell Hill, came after 5:30 p.m. late that afternoon.
