Public’s assistance requested to locate missing person

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.  Leroy Sheldon Johnson, 56, was last seen at the Dollar General, located at 6317 US264 East in Washington, on June 25, 2024 at approximately 10 p.m.

Johnson was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue shorts.  Johnson is described as a black male, short white hair, 6 ft tall, medium build.

If you know the whereabouts of Leroy Sheldon Johnson, you are asked to call the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office at 252-946-0101 or your local law enforcement agency.  You can also call Beaufort County Crime Stoppers at 252-974-6400 or submit your confidential tip online at www.p3tips.com/195 .   Crime Stoppers wants your information, not your name.
