Kevin Durant Approves Commanders' Hiring of Kliff Kingsbury

The new Washington Commanders revolution is in full swing. After the ownership group led by Josh Harris moved in, changes started to be made and this offseason, a whole new regime is in place.

Dan Quinn, formerly the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator, is the new head coach and Adam Peters replaced Martin Mayhew as the new general manager.

Then came the news that Kliff Kingsbury was named the new offensive coordinator as he took over for Eric Bieniemy, who only had one season in the Nation's Capital.

While there are many taking issue with the Kingsbury hire and what that now means for Bieniemy, one person who loves the hire is NBA Superstar and Commanders fan Kevin Durant.

The 14-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA Champion took to X and revealed his excitement that Kingsbury is coming to D.C.

Some have made a correlation between the hire of Kingsbury to the Commanders taking USC's Caleb Williams in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Kingsbury was the senior offensive analyst for USC, the team Williams played for in college, and given that Washington holds the No. 2 overall pick in the draft and Williams is a Washington D.C. native, all signs point to Williams coming to the Commanders - providing the Chicago Bears, who hold the No. 1 overall pick, agree to a trade.

Times are changing in Washington and this time for the better as new ownership, along with a new general manager, coordinators, and head coach, things finally feel like they are looking up in the Nation's capital.

If Durant is happy, then Commanders fans should be too.
