ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals enter Sunday's game with their backs against the wall, looking to keep the season alive in an elimination Game 4 against the New York Rangers. And fortunately, it looks like they will get two key blueliners back in the mix in Rasmus Sandin and Nick Jensen.

Sandin and Jensen both said they feel good to go for Game 4 and were again full participants at the morning skate, taking reps on the power play and penalty kill, respectively.

"I'm just really excited getting back. As I said, it sucks sitting up there and watching. It's nerve-wracking, and you just feel like you don't have any control of anything out there," Sandin said.

Sandin has not played since April 7 against the Ottawa Senators, when he was injured on a hit from Parker Kelly. Jensen has been out since April 13 against the Tampa Bay Lightning, when he was hurt and had to be stretchered off the ice following a big hit from Michael Eyssimont.

"It's tough to watch when all the guys you battle with all year long are out there giving it their all and it's not going our way right now, and you see guys are kind of falling to injury and stuff like that and you kind of have to watch and sit there," Jensen said.

Both need to receive final clearance from doctors, but head coach Spencer Carbery is optimistic both will dress. Lucas Johansen and Hardy Häman Aktell took the scratches' skate, indicating that both Sandin and Jensen will be back on a pairing together.
