Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin is set to take part in quite a hockey game this summer.

Ovechkin teamed up with countrymates and fellow NHLers Artemi Panarin (New York Rangers) and Mikhail Sergachev (Tampa Bay Lightning) to plan a game between NHL and KHL stars in Moscow.

Sergachev shared the poster for the game on social media. Per Daria Tuboltseva on Telegram , the game will be held in mid-July.

There is no time or exact date for the event, yet, but all proceeds from the event will go to charity. The poster features a number of star players expected to feature in the match.

In addition to Ovechkin, Panarin and Sergachev, Dmitry Orlov and Igor Shesterkin will participate in the match. Ilya Kovalchuk will also lace 'em up, along with KHLers Alexander Radulov, Vadim Shipachev, Alexander Nikishin and Nikolai Goldobin.

Ovechkin is currently in Turkey vacationing ahead of his planned offseason training. He was still getting some exercise in during his time away, playing pickleball.
