Washington announced roster moves, including two former Vols, on Saturday.

“The Washington Nationals recalled infielder Trey Lipscomb from Triple-A Rochester and designated third baseman Nick Senzel for assignment on Saturday,” Washington President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo announced.

Lipscomb was selected by Washington in the third-round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft (No. 84 overall). He won the 2022 Southeastern Conference Tournament and regular-season championship with the Vols.

Washington will host St. Louis on Saturday at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. First pitch between the Nationals and Cardinals is slated for 4:05 p.m. EDT on Saturday.
