A Mega Millions ticket sold in Washington won $1 million and narrowly missed the $181 million jackpot, lottery officials say.

The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the Mega Ball in the drawing Tuesday, July 9, Washington’s Lottery said.

Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $203 million , with a cash option of approximately $95 million, for the next drawing Friday, July 12, the site said.

The winning numbers were 21, 26, 54, 60 and 64 with a Mega Ball of 3. The Megaplier was 3.

More than 11,000 other tickets sold in Washington won prizes ranging from $2 to $500 in the drawing, the lottery said.

The Mega Millions jackpot has gone unclaimed since June 4, when an Illinois player hit the $552 million grand prize, lottery officials said.
