Two women are facing charges for allegedly killing a man they called their "sugar daddy."

Audrey Miller, 19, and Tiffany Gray, 22, are also accused of cutting off the man's thumb in order to maintain access to his accounts.

Miller and Gray were recently taken into custody, months after Fasil Teklemariam, 53, was found dead in his Washington, D.C. apartment with multiple stab wounds and several other injuries.

Reports indicate Teklemariam was killed nearly a week before his body was found on April 5. Surveillance footage allegedly shows Miller and Gray coming and going and taking things from the building.

Investigators say witnesses claimed to have observed Gray using Teklemarian's missing thumb to take money out of his account, pay for Ubers and purchase alcohol and other substances, according to CBS News , which obtained arrest affidavits in the case. She also allegedly used his Cash App accounts to collect money.

"Police said that witness told them Gray had visited the apartment building where Teklemarian lived at least twice before, and that he was her 'sugar daddy,'" per the report.

In addition to his thumb, Teklemariam's cellphone, tablet and other electronic devices also remain missing, according to the report.

Miller was arrested on June 21 and Gray was taken into custody on July 1. Both are charged with first-degree murder and armed-felony murder.
