    Alamo Drafthouse Cinema brings back ‘Kids Camp’ to offer $5 tickets this summer

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — If you’re looking to maximize family fun in an affordable way, why not head to the movies? This summer, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is inviting families to enjoy a movie for just $5.

    “We really want to connect more to families and give them that fun summer experience,” said Megan Hia, Community Marketing and Events Manager at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

    Hia said the theater is once again running its affordable family summer program, “ Kids Camp .”

    “We show a different film every week that can range from modern hits such as Spiderman and Minions to timeless classics like “E.T.,” “The NeverEnding Story”, and “Matilda,” said Hia.

    Hia adds the theater offers discounted ticket prices so more families can enjoy a day at the movies. The theater shows a different movie every week at 11 a.m. for $5.

    “It’s a way for us to connect with those families and have them have a fun and affordable way to spend time together,” explained Hia.
