    32-year-old man shot, killed in Southeast DC

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police are investigating a homicide after a man was killed in a shooting in Southeast, D.C. on Sunday evening.

    The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on July 21, around 5:45 p.m., someone flagged officers down in the 1200 block of Oak Drive, Southeast, for a shooting. There, police found 32-year-old D’Andre Dixon, of Southeast, with gunshot wounds.

    He died at the scene.

    MPD said anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to the department’s tip line at 50411.
