PRICE CHECK: How Walmart, Giant, Safeway prices changed in one week

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — As families continue searching for cost-saving strategies amid higher prices for essentials, DC News Now continues to monitor price changes for pantry essentials and popular supermarkets.

The USDA’s June report expects grocery prices to rise by 1% during the rest of the year, while the cost of dining out could rise by 4.2%.
