    Calling all foodies! DC’s Summer Restaurant Week to kick off in August

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — If you love to explore the tastes of different cuisines or are just looking to expand your horizons, D.C.’s Summer Restaurant Week is around the corner!

    The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced the week is kicking off on Aug. 12. Featuring over 20 eateries , D.C.’s 2024 Summer Restaurant Week highlights the food service industry and the diversity of dishes in the Metro area.

    The week offers multi-course brunch and lunch menus ranging from $25 to $65 per person. Organizers said many restaurants will also feature cocktails, wines and non-alcoholic drinks to pair with their lunch or dinner.

    DC’s ‘Jazz in the Garden’ summer concert series brings the soul to Sculpture Garden

    This year, food enthusiasts can join the “ Restaurant Weeks Diner Rewards Program .” This program gives diners the scoop on exclusive restaurant deals, events and promotions throughout the year.

    By opting into the program, participants are automatically enrolled in a pool, from which they can be selected to win prizes at the end of Restaurant Week. The rewards include restaurant gift cards, cookbooks from local chefs and restaurant concepts and tickets to local food-related events.
