    Man hurt in Southeast DC shooting

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) was at the scene of a shooting that happened Wednesday night in Southeast D.C.

    MPD said the incident took place in the 1800 block of Marion Barry Avenue SE. There, a man had been shot.

    Car hits, kills construction worker in Alexandria

    He was unconscious, but breathing. Police said he was taken to the hospital for treatment.

    As of 8:30 p.m., there was no suspect information available.
