    Police identify man killed in early morning Southeast DC shooting

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it has identified a man who was shot and killed early Thursday morning.

    Police said that on July 25 at about 1:40 a.m., they responded to the 3900 block of 1 st St. for the report of a shooting.

    When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man on the road who had been shot.

    The man was transported to the hospital where he later died. He was identified as 36-year-old Calvin Moore.

    Anyone with information is asked to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411.

    A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
