    Woman hurt in Southeast DC shooting

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Officers in D.C. are investigating a shooting that left a woman hurt early Friday morning.

    The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that just after 1 a.m., officers were called to the 100 block of Ridge Road, SE after gunshots were heard in the area.

    There, police located a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

    16-year-old arrested in connection to triple Southeast shooting that left 3 injured

    Police said she was conscious and breathing and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
