    Crews rescue two people trapped in car after it plunges off 75-foot embankment in Southeast DC

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — DC Fire and EMS said it rescued two people trapped in a car after it plunged off 75-foot embankment in Southeast D.C. in the early hours of Friday.

    Crews said the two people were rescued in the 3300 block of Pennsylvania Ave.

    MPD searching for man accused of hitting officer with object during DC protest

    First responders found the car through a fence down a 75-foot incline.

    Firefighters were able to stabilize the car and remove the roof to rescue the people in the car.

    The condition of the victims is not known.
