    DC police arrest, charge man for construction site burglaries

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police arrested a man for separate burglaries at construction sites in D.C.

    The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that 28-year-old Antonini Flores-Diaz, of no fixed address, is facing two counts of burglary two.

    The first burglary happened on Friday, July 24 around 7:20 a.m. MPD said that Flores-Diaz went into a construction site’s office on 14th Street, NW and stole property before escaping.

    The second burglary happened on Saturday, July 27, around 4:15 a.m. MPD said the suspects went into an office in the same block of 14th Street, NW. They stole items before trying to escape, but responding officers apprehended one of them.
