DC police make arrest in fatal 2022 stabbing

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested a man on Thursday for his involvement in a fatal stabbing that happened over two years ago in Northeast D.C.

Officers were dispatched to a local hospital at about 2:40 a.m. on July 9. There, they found a woman suffering from stab wounds who was pronounced dead.

Investigators said the stabbing happened in an establishment in the 1600 block of New York Avenue NE.

The woman was identified as 23-year-old Brittany Palmer.

Two years later, on Aug. 1, officials found and arrested 33-year-old Domonic Tabron of Capitol Heights, Md. He was charged with Second Degree Murder While Armed.
